It and Brock were temporarily transported from their universe to another, where they learned about Spider-Man, the Avengers and Thanos before being returned to their universe. However, Venom had left behind a fragment of itself in Spider-Man's reality.

James Howlett, more commonly referred to as Logan, is a formidable mutant with retractable adamantium claws and regenerative abilities operating under the alias Wolverine, who failed both his teammates, the X-Men, and his world, sending him into a depressive spiral. He was taken from his universe by Deadpool in the latter's attempt to replace his own reality's Wolverine, though the two were banished to the Void by Mr. Paradox's rogue faction of Time Variance Authority agents.

Loki Laufeyson was the biological son of Laufey, King of the Frost Giants, who was abandoned and left to die shortly after his birth. Found by Odin, Loki was taken to Asgard and raised by him and Frigga as an Asgardian prince, along with Thor, becoming the Asgardian God of Mischief.

Wanda Maximoff was a native of Sokovia who grew up with her fraternal twin brother, Pietro. Born with the latent mythical ability to harness Chaos Magic, she developed a hatred for Tony Stark and rallied anti-American protests after the Novi Grad Bombings killed her parents.

Yondu Udonta was the Centaurian leader of an exiled faction of the Ravagers and the adoptive father of Peter Quill. When Quill betrayed the Ravagers and stole the Orb for himself, Yondu led the hunt for his former ally. Eventually, Yondu caught up with Quill, but he was convinced to help him in the battle against Ronan the Accuser, who was threatening to use the Power Stone to destroy Xandar, with Quill ensuring Yondu did not get the Infinity Stone at the end.

James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes is a World War II veteran, former officer of the 107th Infantry Regiment and the best friend of Steve Rogers since childhood. Barnes had enlisted into the Army following the attack on Pearl Harbor and was assigned to the 107th in 1943. His unit was captured by HYDRA, where Barnes was injected with the Super Soldier Serum by Arnim Zola. Barnes was rescued by Rogers, who had become Captain America. Barnes and Rogers then formed the Howling Commandos to battle Red Skull's forces. However, during the attempt to finally capture Zola in the Austrian Alps, Barnes was caught up in the ambush and plummeted hundreds of feet. As no body was recovered, Barnes was presumed deceased and honored as a hero who died in service to his country.Unbeknownst to his team, Barnes' enhanced abilities allowed him to survive the fall, albeit with the loss of his left arm. Once he was found by the Soviet Armed Forces and HYDRA, Barnes was brainwashed and armed with a new cybernetic arm in order to become their operative, known as Winter Soldier.

Jonathan F. "John" Walker is a former Captain of the United States Army's 75th Ranger Regiment who was chosen to succeed Steve Rogers as the second Captain America. However, his aspirations of living up to Rogers' legacy attracted the ire of Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes in their pursuit of the Flag Smashers, during which he took the Super Soldier Serum after failing to apprehend Karli Morgenthau. When his partner and best friend Lemar Hoskins was killed in action, Walker brutally murdered a surrendering foreign national in public, leading to him being stripped of his mantle and discharged from the United States Army with total loss of rank.

Matthew Michael "Matt" Murdock is a lawyer and vigilante who was blinded as a young boy when radioactive substances spilled into his eyes, which resulted in his four remaining senses being heightened to superhuman levels. When mobsters killed his father, Murdock was raised at Saint Agnes Orphanage before being trained by Stick to hone his senses and become a warrior. However, Murdock's compassion led him to be rejected by Stick. As an adult, Murdock chose to study law and attended Columbia University, where he met Foggy Nelson. Upon graduation, Murdock dedicated his life to fighting injustice in New York City; by day, as a lawyer with his law firm Nelson and Murdock, and by night, as a vigilante known as the Masked Man. Murdock's actions as a crime fighter eventually put him into conflict with Wilson Fisk. Murdock used his skills to expose Fisk's criminal activities and then had him arrested, with Murdock now being known as Daredevil.
